The Canine’s Voice starts our meeting with an physical and mental assessment. This assessment is extremely important for dogs who experience fear or resort to aggression for any reason. With any aggressive issue, we must always rule out medical first. It does not matter what breed your dog is or if there is bite history. We cater to dogs who have fearful or aggressive tendencies.
During this assessment, we handle (if the dog is comfortable with it), watch gait and body motion/language, and go over what your goals for training are. If your dog is aggressive, we do not need to see the a reaction to help it as we focus on proactive training instead of reactive. If you are ready to start tackling the issues, we get started on a session after the assessment. You are given homework for the time between our sessions.
